Another in our series of highly-detailed A-10 3d models, this one accurately depicts a United States Air Force A-10A Thunderbolt II (Warthog) with well researched, historically accurate, 1991 Desert Storm era “Euro” paint scheme and markings.
This is airframe 78-0681 from 353rd TFS, 354th TFW, named “Play Time.” It flew from Myrtle Beach AFB, SC, and was piloted by Captain Paul Johnson, who received the Air Force Cross during Desert Storm.
The 3d model includes separate canopy, ejection seat, ladder, flight control surfaces and landing gear for easy animating.
